Overview
Briones Regional Park offers a plethora of trails for hikers to use, and offers other activities such as hiking, camping, biking, and horseback riding for parkgoers to enjoy. Those who have dogs are also welcome to bring them along leashed. It is also rich in biodiversity, with countless different species of animals, plants, trees, and insects that can be seen while exploring the park, even including cows that can be found scattered throughout on or around trails.
Biodiversity
The wide variety of species that can be found in Briones coincides with the array of different habitats that can be found in the park, from ponds, grasslands, streams, and dense forests. A few notable animals that can also be seen in Briones are the California newt, snakes coyotes, and very rarely, mountain lions.




Cows
Cattle can be spotted roaming around the park in groups, and largely ignore people as long as they remain unbothered.
